In September, the H2Olock team participated in the 3rd European Congress on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development, held in Lisbon, Portugal, where the Final Workshop of our project H2OLOCK: Reduce Evaporation and Produce Energy on Farm Ponds was presented.
During the session, the main results, lessons learned, and project conclusions were shared, highlighting how our solutions help reduce evaporation in farm ponds while simultaneously generating renewable energy for use on the farm.
The congress also included field visits, where attendees could see firsthand the effectiveness of the installed demonstration pilots. These practical demonstrations showcased how H2Olock’s technologies can improve water and energy efficiency in agricultural environments, offering sustainable solutions applicable at scale.
This event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, present project progress, and reinforce H2Olock’s commitment to innovation in the sustainable agri-food sector.
